I loved summer best

Cause winter is long and cold

Without snow is boring and confounded

  当我还是小孩子

我最喜欢夏天

因为如果没有雪花

冬天就显得单调而乏味

Without flower is nonsense and bored

春天就显得无聊而冗繁

Cause autumn is golden and well-rounded

Without fruit is ugly and hard

秋天就显得老成而艰难

Although that time we lived in the countryside

And the house we lived was small and crude

And the food we ate was smiple and not complicated

But a clean river always flowed aside

And many green trees environed the yard

And a long and pleasant summer holiday we had

我最喜欢夏天

虽然那时我家住在乡村

我们住的房子小而简陋

而且吃的事物也很简单

但是我家屋旁有一条清澈的小河流过

我家的院子有很多的绿树围绕

我们孩子还有一个长而快乐的假期

In the early morning

I liked fishing at the river side

Hearing the loudest singing of the birds

And talking with the lotus and float grass

And enjoying the ripple or peace of the water surface

And feeling the small secret of tiddlers

我最喜欢夏天

在夏天的清晨

我喜欢在屋旁的小河里垂钓

听鸟儿最清澈的鸣叫

悄悄的与荷花和水草说话

享受湖面的涟漪或者平静

用心感受水底小鱼的快乐

 When I was a boy

I loved summer best

As the sun came up

It became hot and hot

I enjoyed swimming as a litte fish

And daping stones with the babyface

And trashing the waters

And playing with happy fellows

  当我还是小孩子

我最喜欢夏天

当太阳升起的时候

天气变得越来越热

而我却象小鱼一样充分享受清凉与快乐

并且可以天真的在湖面打水漂

可以自由的拍打水花

可以和小伙伴们随意的玩耍嬉戏

 When I was a boy

I loved summer best

When moonlight candled the yard

I liked sitting under the peach tree

Feeling the cool and pleasant breeze

And smelling the fresh fragance of paddy rice

And listening to the distant croak

And counting the lighting bugs

And falling into sleep

  当我还是小孩子

我最喜欢夏天

晚上月光照耀着院子

我喜欢坐在院中的桃树下乘凉

感受屡屡凉爽清新的微风

闻阵阵稻花的新鲜的香气

听着远处的蛙鸣

数着无数的萤火虫的身影

入眠……
