                      The  Love  Triangle  Among  Blair, Nate and Serena

  I used to believe that love roots in friendship since two person's childhood is the most romantic thing. However, the love triangle in Gossip Girl ruined my belief.

  Blair and Nate are an admirable couple in high school. Friends often joke about their close relationship, saying that they have been dating each other since they were both in the kindergarten. Parents of each families also believe that they will be married sooner or later. But all of them forget there is a Serena.

  I don't mean that S is waiting there for her best friend's boyfriend eagerly. Actually it is N not S who play an active part role in this cursed love. S has countless boyfriends. For he there is no reason to steal the one of B. But for N, his girlfriend is always a proud princess and wants to take charge of everything. As he said in one Thanksgiving Day, "Blair is everyone's boss." This kind of girlfriend is really oppressive, even though she loves him so much and he knows it.

  All of above made N finally guiltily fell in love with his girlfriend's best friend, S. After having sex, S felt too guilty to face her friend B, so she chose to go away without telling anyone. I don't know how N felt when he heard the news that S had left, but I'm sure that during the next period of time he missed her so much. That's why he said "I can't be with Blair. That's suicide. I'm not over you" to S after he coming back.

  The third person in love world is always to be hated and blamed. But in this love triangle we can blame anyone but S. She is only a victim of B and N's faults.
