 童年 Childhood
 池塘边的榕树上 The cicada sings:Summer is coming
 知了在声声的叫着夏天 in the banyan treebeside pond
 草场边的秋千上 Only butterfly rest in the swing
 只有蝴蝶停在上边 on the playground
 教室里老师的粉笔还 Our teacher keep on writing
 在拼命叽叽喳喳写个不停 on the blackboard
 等待着下课 Why classes
 等待着放学 are not over yet
 等待游戏的童年 This is my childhood
 
 福利社里面什么都有 I want some snacks
 就是口袋里没有半毛钱 But I have not get any pound
 诸葛四郎和魔鬼党 Last night's cartoon play
 到底谁抢到那只宝剑 told me to be continued
 隔壁班的那个女孩 I have not seen
 怎么还没经过我的窗前 my little girl yet
 嘴里的零食 The snacks
 手里的漫画 and cartoon plays
 心灵初恋的童年 are my close friends
 
 没有人知道为什么 No one one knows
 太阳总下到山的那一边 why the sun goes west
 没有人能够告诉 And no one can tell me
 山里面有没有住着神仙 does immortals exist
 多少个日子里 In a trance
 总是一个人面对着天空发呆 facing sky by myself
 就这么好奇 and thinking over
 就这么幻想 curiously and fancifully
 这么孤单的童年 in my childhood
 
 阳光下蜻蜓飞过来 Over glossy and green rice field
 一片片绿油油的稻田 dragonfly comes to me in the sunlight
 水彩蜡笔和万花筒 The rainbow is colorful
 画不出天边那一道彩虹 We cannot describe it
 什么时候才能象高年级的同学 When can I be mature
 有张成熟与长大的脸 as seniors have had
 盼望着假期 I long for vacations and holidays
 盼望着明天 tomorrow and future
 盼望长大的童年 and the days beyond childhood
 
 总是要等到睡觉前 I always know before sleep
 才知道功课只作了一点点 I should finish my homework
 总是要等到考试以后 I always know after exam
 才想起该念的书都没有念 I should read more books
 一寸光阴一寸金 The time is dime
 老师说过寸金难买寸光阴 As our teacher told me
 一天又一天 Times pass by
 一年又一年 Vaguely I have gone out of
